Gave it all Away enters top 10

The boyz have recorded yet another top 10 single as “Gave it all away” enters the UK charts this week at number 9.

Mikey said:

Absolutely delighted with the top ten chart position and I can’t wait to see what people think of the new album. Looking forward to a busy boyzone year.

Ronan said:

boyzone have replaced the terrible twosome, Jedward, at the top of the Irish singles chart today with the new single, Gave It All Away.

A big thanks to all of you who supported the boyz by buying and downloading the single, what a great tribute to Stephen.

The album, Brother is released in Ireland today and has received some fantastic press reviews so far.

GMTV

The boyz joined Lorraine Kelly on the famous GMTV sofa yesterday for a chat, followed by the first performance of the new single, “Gave It All Away”.

The lads were in good spirits yesterday as they talked to Lorraine Kelly on GMTV about the new single and updated her on what each of them are doing.

After showing clips of the video for “Gave It All Away”, Mikey commented about how difficult it is to perform the song and how they are still finding their way to perform without Stephen.

Shane pointed out that it is important for the band to continue the journey that they started with Stephen and to complete the album as he would have wanted.

Keith announced that the boyz will be doing a TV tribute to Stephen, along with celebrity guests, more exciting news of that coming soon.

The interview with Lorraine was followed by an emotional first performance of  “Gave It All Away”.

Rejecting all offers of record company help, the band locked themselves in a room with director pal PAUL GRIFFIN and a camera while they reminisced about Stephen, who died last October aged only 33.
