The boyz have confirmed a Belfast date for their 2011 ‘Brother’ Tour at the Odyssey Arena on Friday 18 March. Tickets will go on sale Thursday 27 May at 9am.

At last the answer to all your questions on the site and on twitter!

The ‘Brother’ Tour follows the release of the No.1 album of the same name. Brother is an album that the boyz are extremely proud of and they can’t wait to take the new collection of songs on the road next year.

The brand new single ‘Love Is A Hurricane’ was released on Monday and the boyz will be on GMTV today.

New boyzone single

Love Is A Hurricane, will be the brand new boyzone single and will be released on 17th May, continuing what has already been an incredible year for Keith, Mikey, Ronan and Shane. The release of Brother saw them straight to the top of the UK and Irish charts.

Love Is A Hurricane was an obvious choice; After debuting the track recently on their ITV1 show boyzone: A Tribute To Stephen Gately, the reaction from fans made the choice of the second single an easy decision.

Boyzone Brother Tour

Here’s the news that you’ve all been waiting for, rumours have been circulating for weeks, twitter has been buzzing with gossip and speculation……boyzone will officially be back on the road in February 2011 with a full UK tour.

As they celebrate their latest Number 1 album, Brother (the sixth album of their seventeen year career) the boyz are hugely excited to finally be looking forward to this new chapter in boyzone’s ongoing story by announcing 12 UK dates.

Ronan says:

There was a time there when the lads and I didn’t know whether we would ever get back up on stage together again – we just didn’t know if we could do it as a four-piece. We played three tracks live at the Albert Hall a couple of weeks ago and the reception was just unbelievable. We all came off stage buzzing, knowing that we had the full support of the fans and it all just suddenly felt so right. We can’t wait to get back on the road together.

Boyzone last toured in the spring/summer of 2009 with their sell-out Better Tour.

The Brother Tour promises to be even bigger and better and will include tracks such as the Top Ten single, Gave It All Away and fan’s favourite, Love Is A Hurricane. They will sit alongside classics such as Picture Of You, Love Me For A Reason, No Matter What as well as a few surprises along the way.

After the success of Brother, 2010 looks set to be a very busy year for the new foursome with more singles to follow, another album to record and a new 12 date tour for the beginning of 2011.

Early next year Ronan will be taking to the road on a brand new solo tour that will take him all over the UK.

Ronan kicks off his tour in Glasgow in February with the tour lasting until the end of March.

Newmarket tonight for the boyz

The boyz will be heading to the races today for their gig tonight at Newmarket.

Then in September they will be in Shepton Mallet for the BIG GIG Weekend where you can also see Katherine Jenkins who, according to Twitter, was having drinks with Ronan last night in The Ivy.
