GMTV

The boyz joined Lorraine Kelly on the famous GMTV sofa yesterday for a chat, followed by the first performance of the new single, “Gave It All Away”.

The lads were in good spirits yesterday as they talked to Lorraine Kelly on GMTV about the new single and updated her on what each of them are doing.

After showing clips of the video for “Gave It All Away”, Mikey commented about how difficult it is to perform the song and how they are still finding their way to perform without Stephen.

Shane pointed out that it is important for the band to continue the journey that they started with Stephen and to complete the album as he would have wanted.

Keith announced that the boyz will be doing a TV tribute to Stephen, along with celebrity guests, more exciting news of that coming soon.

The interview with Lorraine was followed by an emotional first performance of  “Gave It All Away”.

If you missed it you can see the whole interview and performance on GM.TV >>

I loved seeing the boyz together on GMTV. I think it was a beautiful performance, Mikey did a great job singing lead vocals. I know it could not have been easy to arrive to a TV show without Stephen but I know the boyz know all the fans are backing them all the way. We will never forget Stephen but we celebrate his memory through the boyz. Well done Ro, Keith, Mikey and Shane, We all love ye. xxx

I watched Boyzone yesterday on GMTV, I was very sad, but you are doing well, boyz, it was not easy for you.

We will never forget Stephen, it was a lovely tribute to him.

Sorry I took so long to leave a message I just can’t stop playing the GMTV clips. The interview was amazing – but I loved the way the song was played. Showing pics of Stephen while his verse was sung and then leading into Boyzone. And the video played in the background. They all look amazing and really put their heart into singing the song. I can’t wait for the single & album to arrive from HMV. And I so want to see them on tour. Mikey was great on vocals :-) .

It must have been very hard because I remember in a recent interview the guys said Stephen was always the last to arrive and I guess they ’still wait for him’ sometimes. But they were brilliant and I am so glad they have decided to carry on – I am sure BZ are fully aware of the support from their fans. Love you guys xxxxx

Looking forward to seeing Ronan in Sheffield & Manchester x

You guys did great! That was a fantastic performance. My hat of to you Mikey for singing some of Steo’s lines. I can only imagine how hard that must have felt. Like I said before, I’m sure he’s smiling down upon you fellas and agreeing what a good job you are doing :)

My poem for the guys – love you so much :-)

    BOYZONE ARE BACK

The Boyzone guys are back again
And in our hearts they’ll stay
No matter what may come their way

    Now there are only four
    Ronan, Mikey, Keith & Shane
Stephen is sadly not here any more

His smile, his cheek, the electrical heat
That inspired him to perform; to the musical beat
Stephen light up the stage with an amazing pace
which made all his fans’ heartbeats race

With time out to grieve and cry
The Boyzone guys are here for one more try
To lift our hearts up to the sky
To sing, to rejoice and lift our spirits to a high

Their new single: Gave it all away
will speed to number 1 in only a day

But the best thing of all; is that:

Boyzone are back again …. no matter what

I never posted here before, but I just wanted to say how much I love this song.

The video…what can I say? It’s the perfect tribute to Stephen. And what makes it so strong are the real emotions the guys show.

    Guys…Steo would be very proud.
