Ronan opens new breast cancer unit in Leeds

Ronan opened a new £1m state of the art breast cancer unit in Leeds on Saturday, on his way to the boyzone gig in Sheffield arena.
He told the Yorkshire Post:
“I’ve seen first hand the great work that the Marie Keating Foundation Units do both in Ireland and in the UK educating people about cancer prevention and treatment.
“However, until we finally beat this disease it’s vital that new and improved Breast Care Units – such as this one in Leeds – are available to help treat and care for people with breast cancer.”

That’s great! Well done Ro! It’s fantastic that you are able to raise awareness about breast cancer. My sister’s friend has recently found out that her cancer is terminal after being in remission for a few years. She’s only in her thirties. x
