Ambassador meets Prime Minister
Ronan, who is set to climb Kilimanjaro for Comic relief, met with the Prime Minister of Tanzania on his visit to Dublin ahead of the climb.
Ronan is a UN Goodwill Ambassador and Trade Ambassador for Christian Aid and presented the Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania – Mr Peter Minzengo, with a gift of Waterford Crystal as a mark of his support for Irish trade and industry.
Ronan is set to join a host of other celebrities to climb Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief and will be the only Irish person to undertake the challenging expedition to the top of the 19,330ft mountain. He will be joined by Girl’s Aloud band members, Cheryl Cole and Kimberly Walsh, as well as Gary Barlow and Alesha Dixon. The celebrity climbers will hope to raise £5 million to fund the purchase of mosquito nets that will be used to help eradicate malaria within African countries by the year 2012.

I would love to see a full U.S. Tour. Help me to help YOU and lets get this invisible wall tore down so us guys over here can enjoy your music as much as they do over there!
